Greencastle Area Residents Group

We love Greencastle and the special qualities that make it unique. We aim to do our best to ensure that these natural resources are protected and supported for the benefit of all of us to enjoy and sustain future generations.

The main objectives of the group are

  • To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of the Area of Greencastle with particular regard to the conservation of the rural environment and charter of the Area, with the object of improving the quality of life for all the residents
  • To preserve the built and natural heritage of the Area
  • To oppose anything that would have a detrimental effect on the Area
  • To effect these activities without distinction on a cross community and non-political basis

Membership

Membership of the Greencastle Area Residents Group is open to all people who appreciate the beauty of Greencastle and wish to support the Group’s campaigns to preserve Greencastle and all that it has to offer.

Full Membership: Full membership of the Greencastle Area Residents Group is open to all residents, land owners and property owners on the Greencastle Pier Road and the Fair Road.

Associate Membership: Asssociate membership of the Greencastle Area Residents Group is open to residents of adjoining areas of Greencastle.  A small membership fee is payable annually – currently £5 per adult.

Affliate Membership: Affliate membership is open to anyone who supports the aims of the Group.  A small membership fee is payable annually – currently £5 per adult.
